Highlights IFSEC 2012
At this year’s IFSEC, Dallmeier presented its comprehensive portfolio of professional video management systems.
The highlight was the award-winning and much-lauded multifocal sensor system Panomera®. Furthermore, the new CCTV Good Practice Guide from the Security Institute was launched at the Dallmeier stand.
The Panomera® effect: Where HD and megapixel cameras reach their limits
Panomera® is a unique HD camera technology, which was especially developed for the video surveillance of expansive areas. Panomera® guarantees highest detail resolution at every distance.
The multifocal sensor system Panomera® stands out due to its completely new lens and sensor concept: The resolution never falls below the specified parameters, not even in the most distant areas of the image. Especially the Panomera® effect fascinated all visitors. The Panomera® effect guarantees a uniform resolution over the entire scene. This way, even objects that are farther away can be displayed with the same resolution quality as objects in the foreground of the picture.
PRemote-HD
Another highlight for our visitors was PRemote-HD, a method developed by Dallmeier that uses transcoding to enable the transmission of HD and megapixel streams even at low bandwidths. PRemote-HD is particularly useful for locations where images need to be recorded at highest quality but have only a low-bandwidth network available, for example DSL networks with a 128 kbit upload.
IP Know-How
Dallmeier once again showcased their comprehensive range of IP technology. Dallmeier are focused on best practice and demonstrated dedicated true IP technology products at IFSEC 2012. Understanding network and cabling infrastructure as well as having products that have high functionality and operability puts Dallmeier at the forefront of the IP/HD market.
Launch of the CCTV Good Practice Guide
The Security Institute launched their new good practice guide to CCTV at the Dallmeier IFSEC stand.
Sponsored by Dallmeier, topics like image quality and integrity, which are of highest importance in any video surveillance system, are covered in this guide. The guide also details issues of procurement, good management and changes in legislation that surveillance managers need to be aware of.
