Display and evaluation of status and event messages from Dallmeier recording systems and cameras

The SeMSy® Event Manager (SEM) software allows the display and evaluation of status and event messages from Dallmeier recording systems and cameras, which are stored in a local database upon receipt. 

Individual filter functions allow the focus on messages of interest, while the display of the associated live streams or recordings can be activated in SeMSy® Compact.

Workstation
The SeMSy® Event Manager software is installed and operated on a powerful workstation alongside the Dallmeier client software SeMSy® Compact. The recommended Dallmeier workstation provides sufficient performance for decoding and displaying high-resolution video streams. In this context, the comparatively low requirements for message processing can be neglected.

Encrypted Transmission
The SeMSy® workstation is defined as an alarm host at the relevant recording systems and cameras. The resulting messages are then encrypted (MQTTS/TLS) and transmitted over the network in near real time. The activation of the display at SeMSy® Compact is done via XML commands, while the SeMSy® Event Manager also transmits the access data in encrypted form.

Data Import
The SeMSy® Event Manager allows the import of the access data of all recording systems and cameras created in SeMSy® Compact. A tedious and error-prone double entry of the data is not necessary.

Message Display
The SeMSy® Event Manager displays the received messages in a tabular overview in the main window, which also allows direct triggering of further actions. If this is not necessary, the software can also be operated completely minimized in the task bar.

Licensing
The SeMSy® Event Manager software is licensed via a dongle that is connected to a local workstation or to a central workstation that is always accessible via the network. The dongle included in the scope of delivery is already equipped with the basic license for using the software and a 12-month license for installing updates, which can be extended to up to 60 months.

Optional Licensing
The SeMSy® Event Manager software is installed and operated alongside the Dallmeier client software SeMSy® Compact. If a SeMSy® Compact Pro dongle is already available, it can also be used for licensing the SeMSy® Event Manager software.
