AI Perimeter App
The AI Perimeter App is specifically designed to meet the needs of perimeter protection. It allows the definition of specially protected areas (sterile zone) with pre-zones. When relevant objects (people, vehicles, etc.) enter these zones, it allows the escalation of appropriate messages to draw the operators' attention to the most important events.

AI Perimeter Object Classification
The AI Perimeter neural network is specifically designed to detect attacks by well-prepared groups of perpetrators. It reliably detects people with unusual body postures (bent over, squatting, lying down) and movement patterns (very slow, very fast, crawling, creeping, rolling). The type of clothing (light, dark) is irrelevant and the network has been intensively trained to detect people in camouflage suits (British Smock, Camouflage Central Europe, Ghillie etc.).

AI Extended Tamper Detection App
The extended AI Tamper Detection App supports the detection of tampering attempts that are typically expected at a perimeter. In addition to the classic approaches (twisting, defocusing, spraying and covering the camera or IR illumination) the blinding of the camera (laser pointer, flashlight, strobe light) is also reliably detected. Indirect tampering through the use of pyrotechnics (fog grenades, smoke pots) is also detected and alerted.

Compatibility
The AI Perimeter App and the associated AI Perimeter neural network have been developed together with the AI Extended Tamper Detection App for the innovative Panomera® S4 Perimeter. However, all components of this package can also be used with the current Domera® cameras of the RDF6000 series and with all Panomera® S4 and 8 (MK2) cameras.

Licensing
The AI Perimeter App and the AI Extended Temper Detection App are activated after entering the corresponding license code on the camera. The neural AI Perimeter network must be installed additionally after licensing.

Note for the App
The AI Perimeter App cannot be used simultaneously with the EdgeAnalytics AI Essential Apps. However, switching between the two operating modes is supported.

Note for the Net
The neural AI Perimeter network requires visual conditions for object recognition that are comparable to human perception. Deviating counting results are to be expected in unfavorable lighting conditions or when objects are heavily obscured.
