Sales and solution partners of Dallmeier electronic met in Regensburg on 19 and 20 October to learn about current products and solutions of the German video security technology manufacturer and to get a preview of the future new partner programme. The topic “Made in Germany“ played a particularly important role for the installers present.
With the second “Dallmeier Partner Day“, the Dallmeier parent company and the company’s own distributor “Dallmeier Components“ gave the starting signal for the reorganisation of the company in indirect sales. Interested installers met at the “Dallmeier Experience Centre“ in Regensburg on 19 and 20 October. The presentations focused on the business opportunities for Dallmeier partners under the motto “Low total cost of ownership especially with products from the high-wage country“, the latest products and an outlook on the company’s announced brand new partner programme.
Development, prototyping, production in Regensburg
The comprehensive company tour with research and development, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) Centre and the Dallmeier Holodeck with the 12K projection screen for 3D simulations also met with great enthusiasm. A special interest was the production. Dallmeier not only develops all hardware and software products at the company headquarters in Regensburg, but also the complete production of all cameras and recording devices as well as prototype development takes place at the company headquarters.
End customers and installers benefit equally the theme “Made in Germany“ ran like a red thread through the entire event. The presentations showed how the combination of quality and innovation can result in lower total cost of ownership than with many supposedly cheaper products. This includes, for example, the Domera® single sensor cameras that can be readjusted via remote access (“Dallmeier RPoD“) or the modular “Mountera®“ mounting system. All in all, these and other details mean tangible commercial advantages for both end customers and installers.
Ethical responsibility complements data protection and data security
The topic of ethical responsibility was also seen as increasingly important in the discussions. In addition to the perennial topics of data protection and data security, both clients and installers increasingly see it as their duty to make ethically and geopolitically responsible investment decisions - and increasingly not only to avoid negative publicity if necessary, but more and more out of authentically lived, convinced ethical responsibility.
Outlook for further Partner Days in the new year: deal registration, “Team Up“ and more
A brief insight into the new partner programme, which the Regensburg-based manufacturer presented to the public in autumn, also met with great interest. In addition to interesting conditions, the new programme promises a multi-level partner model as well as deal registration for projects. Under the title “Team Up“, the value added distributor Dallmeier Components also offers individually configurable support services. This enables interested installers to immediately implement Dallmeier projects and build up their own know-how without any prior knowledge. This also explicitly includes projects with the patented Dallmeier Panomera® multifocal sensor systems.
“One thing has become clear in the discussions: In addition to the principles of data protection and data security enshrined in the GDPR, the topic of ethical responsibility is becoming increasingly important for our installers and their end customers,“ says Christoph Haack, Managing Director of Dallmeier Components. “In combination with the well-known quality and long service life of Dallmeier products, installers stand with a very strong message in the market with which they can solidly differentiate themselves from the competition. A high indirect margin potential through innovative product features that save time and effort in configuration and installation as well as an attractive condition model round off the offer also on the commercial side.“
The Partner Days will take place again in the new year. On 8 and 9 February 2023, Dallmeier will once again invite to Regensburg. Interested professionals and resellers can register now on the company’s homepage.
